About the Band

Intrepid Cat is a Fort Wayne-based jazz fusion/funk band comprised of five of the most talented high school students from the area. From spiced-up classics to electrifying funk, the group plays a variety of instrumental covers from the likes of Tom Misch, Stevie Wonder, Grover Washington Jr., and T-Square, as well as genre-blending original compositions that explore the depths of rhythm and the transcendental nature of harmony. Intrepid Cat has played at Teds Beerhall, Firefly Coffee House, BuskerFest, 2Toms Brewing Company, Promenade Park, The Garden FW, The Ruin, and Beacon Heights Church.
