About the Band

Intrepid Cat is a Fort Wayne-based jazz fusion/funk band comprised of six talented musicians from the area. From spiced-up classics to electrifying funk, the group plays a variety of covers from the likes of Stevie Wonder, Tom Misch, and Grover Washington Jr., as well as genre-blending original compositions that explore the depths of rhythm and the transcendental nature of harmony. Intrepid Cat has played at the Embassy Theatre, Pearl Street Arts Center, Rock The Plaza, Teds Beerhall, Celestial Fest, the Clyde Theatre, Union Street Market, Art This Way Art Crawl: Alley Bash, Ambrosia Orchard, Vinland Reserve Winery, Stan’s Room, Nick's Martini & Wine Bar, Firefly Coffee House, BuskerFest, 2Toms Brewing Company, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fort Wayne, Promenade Park, The Garden FW, The Ruin, and Beacon Heights Church.
